KATRINA DEACON

Project Manager

Katrina is an amiable and efficient person who gets the job done. Able to deal with all types of clients from government agencies to commercial and domestic clients, Katrina applies the same thorough focus no matter what size the project is, from initiation to handover and beyond.

 

With 13 years experience in the construction industry as a Project Manager, following 10 years of Contract Management experience, Katrina is;

 

  • Able to deal with NHS Estates refurbishments and new builds with experience of HTM's (Hospital Technical Memorandum) and Government Guidelines. Various Trusts throughout the UK

  • Working in the commercial sector as a mechanical and electrical services Project Manager within a programme of projects and also a Commissioning Project Manager

  • Refurbishments and large renovation contracts with various Universities

  • Refurbishments, new builds and extensions for commercial and domestic clients

  • Utilities applications

  • Liaison with local government for planning and building control (also independent buiding control) as well as CDMC requirements

  • Relocation of large departments including provision of labour and removals

  • CAD (Computer Aided Design) operation and production of drawings and schematics

  • Production of Gantt charts for schedules and PRINCE2 documents such as Business Cases and Project Initiation Documents

 

 

Katrina is an effective buffer between client and contractor, facilitating communication and team organisation.
